Safeguarding at St. Mary’s - Ecclesfield

St. Mary’s – Ecclesfield seeks to promote the welfare of all children, young people and
vulnerable adults. Our congregations, staff, and volunteers share this commitment. We want
everyone to feel and to be safe in the Church, and in all our associated work.

St. Mary’s – Ecclesfield has as far as possible adopted the policies and procedures of the
House of Bishops and the Diocese of Sheffield.

We have adapted these policies to our own structure of governance and routines,

to ensure that they take our particular circumstances into account.
